Charlie began his career in the airline industry in 1981 with Canadian Airlines, and was employed there through multiple mergers and acquisitions throughout the years. He has now been with Delta Airlines for 40 years. 

He became president of his unit in the mid-90’s and has been actively involved in the negotiations committee for 3 collective agreements.

Most recently, Charlie was appointed Recording Secretary for Local 1976 in 2023.
