Local 1976 at National Day of Mourning at Barrie City Hall

On April 28th, 2023, Christopher Thompson from Unit 2311 of Local 1976 was present at Barrie City Hall to observe the National Day of Mourning, along with Barrie MP Alex Nuttall and Barrie and District Labour Council President Michelle MacDonald.

National Day of Mourning has been commemorated since 1984 to remember individuals who have lost their lives or suffered an injury or illness while on the job.
